| After researching all the other brands I choose this one because it had a nice digital easy to read display,not a complicated needle type. After a week of using it I bought another one for my wife. The only complaints I have is with the battery life of around 4 to 5 hours of use. I did have one instance when it started cutting on and off with certain movemints but after changing out the batteries I think it will be ok now, I hope. The rod joint isn't very steady but after wrapping electrical tape around the male part of the shaft it now feels pretty secure. I have found plenty of change and even my telephone lines at around a foot deep! Be very carefull digging in your yard! |

| Works fine around home. I haven't tried any "treasure hunting" at the park but it picks out fairly small objects. I do like the armrest. It takes the strain out of holding the pickup out in front. |

| I bought one from a local dealer and started scanning my boy friend's yard (house built in 1920's). Immediately I picked up all sorts of signals. After a while I became used to the different tones and began discriminating what to and not to dig. I found 3 spoons, one of them is silver, and 5 wheat pennies. The next day I found about $ in change. I think its a great deal for the money. |

For most metal detectors, we need to learn and practice before we can really get it work. This model is very easy to operate without spending a lot of time learning. I recommend this model for lazy people like me.
