| As critical as a hydration system is to staying healthy on the trails, this "elixir" product from CamelBak is equally critical. I REALLY enjoy the taste (lemon/lime or orange), and the sodium and electrolytes really help on those multi-day hikes in the heat (or not). The elixir has no sugar in it so it does not gum up your hydration systems connections or mouth-piece. I find that the taste really gives me a mental/morale boost too on those long trail days. You have nothing to lose by trying this product. You can use the tablets in your Nalgene water bottles as well. MUCH better than drinking just plain water. |

| Love the taste, definitely helps you stay hydrated. Dissolves quickly, no residue, not sticky if you spill on your pack. Use it for hiking, backpacking and I even use it at home when running on treadmill. Have not tried the Orange yet. Will try this weekend. |

| I use these both in my Camelbak and in normal water bottles. Quick to thoroughly dissolve. Tastes fine and not overly sweet which is a big plus as far as I'm concerned. Don't appear to leave any residue which is particularly good for keeping Camelbak clean. |

I bought and used these Elixir Tabs on a recent 40 mile backpacking trip in the Wind River Range. I especially liked the "low sugar" alternative to the other sports drinks but on a longer trip where space and weight are an issue these were "the deal". They dissolve quickly, have a mild taste that doesn't leave a flavor in my reservior, and are compact!
When I returned home I started using them for my child's sport drink to replace his electrolytes without all the sugar.
