Flimsy Speed Transmitter Mount = DOA

The mounting system for the speed pickup is incredibly badly designed--it's just an o-ring that wraps around the fork. Not very secure for a part that needs to be 20mm or less from fast-moving spokes. So the first bump I hit, the speed transmitter slips into the spokes, which killed it and wrecked the spokes on a $300 wheel. The computer worked great for a whopping .3 miles. Give this one a miss.

Good Buy

Although I don't ride much, I wanted a computer with cadence so it could also be used more easily with a stationary trainer in the winter without having tomess with wires. This product seems to work great on both rode and trainer. The only issue I have is that I keep bumping the cadence transmitter out of place, especially when transporting the bike, so that I have to reposition it before every ride.

Great wireless for the price

This computer has a lot going for it. I bought it specifically because I wanted wireless cadence, and this was as cheap as I could find it.

It was fairly easy to install, despite the cryptic instruction manual. It comes with strong rubber bands to attach most of the components, so they can be installed and removed without having to cut zip ties. I have a little trouble keeping the cadence transmitter in place, but only on really bumpy sections or when I throw the bike in the car.

The display is excellent. It's incredibly easy to read, and I love the fact that it uses *words* to convey what data you're looking at. To me, this ended up being the best feature. All my past cyclometers had tiny icons with no meaning.

Half the functions are accessed by one button, the other half by a different button. Things like the clock are in one set, while speed, cadence, and trip time are in another. This works well for me.

Usually, the computer will start up when you start rolling, but sometimes you have to hit a button to wake it up. This is a minor annoyance.

It has dual bike functions with the optional kit (though it won't do cadence on the second bike). I don't use this right now, but I'm considering it for my mountain bike. When the computer on that bike breaks, I'll probably do just that.

All in all, it a pretty great cyclometer. It works as advertised, it's inexpensive for wireless cadence, and the display is awesome.

cadence receiver finicky

Not easy to use. It gets locked in the wrong menu and has to auto shutoff before working properly. Cadence receiver moves about. The rubber bands are not enough to hold it in place.
