classic fun

We already have one of these for our 2 year-old daughter and when our son was born we knew that our daughter was NOT going to want to share hers so, we purchased one for him. This trike is very stable! And, It's solidly built. The classic style makes this is a toy that we will save so that our children can pass it down to their kids! We love it! But more importantly, our kids LOVE this trike!

This little Schwinn is a beauty!

Recently purchased the Schwinn Roadster for our grandson's 2nd birthday (coming up in a few weeks). We read some great reviews when doing our "homework," but we were not expecting such a gorgeous, well-made tricycle. From its air-filled tires to its shiny red steel frame and chrome fenders, it's absolutely gorgeous. The wheels turn easily & the bucket seat gives a lot of support. It has a non-tip design, which many people cited in their reviews. Easy to put together (Grandma did it!), and sturdy, sturdy, sturdy. And that retro bell & streamers add just the right touch! Can't wait to see our little guy's face!

Well worth the $$$

We bought this trike for our daughter's 2nd Birthday. After doing tons of research online and reading many reviews of other products, we decided on this one because of the quality. It is absolutely gorgeous and in our opinion well worth the money. The bell is a huge hit! For parents wondering if their child will be able to reach the pedals: our daughter measured 33.5 inches in length at her 2 year well-check and her legs/feet don't quite reach yet; we have the bucket seat adjusted as close to the front of the trike as it will go. She will be able to reach the pedals soon enough; for now she loves to ride by putting her feet on the ground and pushing herself along. This great toy will be around for many years to come. We highly recommend it. P.S. - Everyone who sees it goes absolutely crazy over it. It is ADORABLE!!

Schwinn Tricycle

I purchased the Schwinn Tricycle for my 2 year old Grandaughter.
I am very impressed with the quality. There are so many cheap looking tricycles to choose from. The Schwinn is well constructed and good looking. I expect it will be passed on to the next grandchild.

Be aware: Height Restriction of 38"

Ordered this tricycle because I wanted a sturdy metal framed trike with rubber wheels, one that wouldn't tip over when my two-year-old rounds a corner. I purchased this seeing that the manufacturer recommends it for ages 1 to 4, but was disappointed to see a height restriction on the box when it arrived: 38". My two-year-old is already 37.5" tall, so we'd get next to no use out of this. Had to return it, even though it looked great otherwise. It's true my son is in the 99th percentile for height, so not everyone will have this problem, but it would be helpful if the description here noted the restriction for parents of tall kids like mine.

Delicious Library 2 released

Ars Technica: “DL2 brings some pretty significant new features and a freshly updated UI. At the top of the list is the ability to catalog far more than just media like DVDs and books; users can now keep track of their gadgets, toys, tools, and just about anything else that Amazon carries. Speaking of media, though, DL2 now also catalogs your entire iTunes library, including music, movies, TV shows, and even audiobooks.”

More awesome software from the Pacific Northwest. ;)

Congrats to Wil! And to Lucas and Mike, of course, even though they’re not still Monsters.

More awesome Mac software from the Pacific Northwest. ;)

By the way, John Chaffee of BusySync will be presenting at next week’s Seattle Xcoders meeting on automating tech support using FogBugz, shell scripts, etc.
