| Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer by Schwinn Fantastic! | We love this trailer! I can pull my kids (3yr and 9mo) in this no problem. I barely feel them behind me because it's so light weight. We knew when we bought this the buckles were going to be hard to undo, and we needed extra padding for them to sit on. The reviews were right, but once we figured out a good way for the buckles, and I just laid down a light blanket underneath for extra support, we were good to go.
It was really easy to put together, although the directions weren't very clear. But, I would definitely buy this trailer again, and would even pay more for it. It converts to a jogging stroller, and I love the bigger wheel in front. It's a lot lighter than my double stroller, which is what I was using for jogging before I bought this. Great product! | | Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer by Schwinn Great for cargo | | Here's a review from someone that DOESN'T have anything to do with carrying kids; in today's $4.00 per gallon gas, I decided I needed a human-powered cargo unit to bring to the grocery store, the mall or wherever else in order to bring stuff home without making yet another car trip. This trailer is an almost-perfect solution! The construction is VERY sturdy, it has massive carrying capacity (6 full grocery bags and handles the weight easily), aluminum frame makes it lightweight, AND best of all the 16" front wheel which makes rolling it for distance a breeze - that wheel is definitely this unit's selling point as opposed to the 'shopping cart' front wheels you see on others. The only slight drawbacks are the somewhat difficult setup to hook it up to a bike, and I'd like it to have a solid bottom instead of nylon to make it sturdier for cargo. But it WAS designed to haul kids, and putting a bottom on was a pretty easy thing for me to do, so no big deal. All in all, the price for a unit like this makes it a great deal (I do have to mention I bought it a couple of weeks ago when the price was $45 cheaper! Lucky me!) so if you're looking for a cargo trailer like me, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. | | Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer by Schwinn Good buy for the money | I purchased this trailer for my two grandsons, who are 2 and 3 years old. In general it's a great trailer. Lots of storage in the back,VERY lightweight. Glides easily over concrete or terrain. However, the seat could use some extra padding. I'm stil working on that. It sits a little too straight for one of my grandsons with neck problems. My grandson who is 3 complains that his legs hurt when he rides in it. He's tall for his age and he has to sit at an angle or I have to remove the fabric from the front of the trailer to give him enough room.
I like the trailer but it still needs work. I bought this trailer for [...] on Amazon, not the [...] they are asking now. If I paid that much for it, I might have a different review. | | Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer by Schwinn Just what we wanted | | This is just wonderful. Our baby enjoyed her first ride so much. She relaxed a lot and even she felt sleep. We are just wondering if we can put our baby's car seat inside so that our baby don't fall to any of the sides when she is there sleeping. | | Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer by Schwinn Loving my new freedom | I have had this item for a couple of weeks now and am loving it. Since we only have one car and a single stroller for two kids, it has been hard getting outside and around. Now that I have this double stroller, I am able to load the kids up anytime I want and go to the park, store, or just for a walk and a little me time. The kids don't complain, they love it.
The only problems I have are that you need to put something under the seat, like a pillow or blanket, to help your kids sit right and sometimes my 3 year old squishes her little sister because they sink towards each other (to the center of the stroller). If you position the support correctly you cna eleviate that problem. Other than that it is Awesome! | | Schwinn Trailblazer Bike Trailer by Schwinn Product Description | | Mark 3 Bike Trailer, by Schwinn by InSTEP: Call the boss, give the sitter the day off, and go out for a ride with the kids. With a normal trailer you'd just park it outside, but with the Schwinn Mark III, you can convert it to a handy stroller and bring your kids inside. The Mark III sports a lightweight aluminum chassis that provides space for up to two children, along with a zip-down weather shield that protects them from rain, wind, and other inclement weather. More importantly, the trailer is designed for quick, tool-free conversion, with a universal trailer coupler that attaches to any bike and a flip-out front wheel and handlebar for the stroller. It's easy to use, fun, and versatile. Perhaps the most significant feature, however, is the size of the front wheel (16 inches), which gives the Mark III enough stability to function as a jogging stroller in addition to a walking stroller. Other details include smooth-rolling, 20-inch rear wheels with a quick-release design for easy storage; a hideaway clear window; a dual harness system; outrigger wheel guards; and a screened canopy for ventilation. The Mark III measures 52.5 by 20 by 34.5 inches (W x H x D) in trailer form, offers a maximum weight limit of 100 pounds, and is backed by a five-year warranty.
