It has a 1:1 pull ratio which is fine.
It has a light touch, so in gloves it is easy to shift when you don't intend to.

| I had shifter with a broken piece and needed a replacement. I found this part to be an easy replacement without a serious upgrade in quality. This wasn't the exact replacement part but the next uptick in quality. It appears to have been almost the same part. I have never installed a shifter and found it quite a simple procedure. |

Shifter is easy to install. A perfect replacement for my bike's original shifter that wore out. Shift points line up perfectly with my cluster gear. Works very well, but I wish the shifts were crisper.
I especially like Niagara Cycle Works. They have low prices, good service, and delivered more than I paid for!
