Perfect. Just exactly what I was looking for, it adds 3-point stability and is perfect for my wife when she's hooking up the trailer for our son to ride behind her on trips to the neighborhood pool. The ability to raise the stand from either side of the bike comes in handy all the time. Strong, solid spring, easy to install, and doesn't get in the way of chains, pedals or other bike parts on her Target-grade Schwinn mountain bike. Worth every penny, and it doesn't cost many.

I purchased this double kickstand because I commute to work on my bike and use panniers to carry my clothes, lunch, etc. The panniers were too heavy and kept tipping my bike over with the regular kickstand down. I would have to stop, take the bags off, put the kickstand down and then I could take my hand off of my bike.
This kickstand was incredibly easy to install, it did require an allen wrench that was much bigger than any I owned for the bike (#8), but I found it at my local hardware store for just a couple of extra dollars.
After that, my bike sits upright all the time, even on an incline and with my bags packed and attached to my bike. I like the freedom of being able to get ready to go and not have to keep one hand on my bike at all times.
I also like that it lifts one wheel entirely off the ground, either the front or rear depending on where all the weight is distributed on the bike. This will prove helpful when I need to work on my bike too. It's like having a built in bike rack to do minor maintenance with. You can remove one tire and still have it stand upright. This was well worth the investment. |

Item as described and heavy duty,.....it was installed and operational on my 26" Schwinn Ranger MB after receiving it, in 5 minutes. Install was a breeze, take off the old, install the new. Fits like a glove. Note: You will need a large allen wrench. Item as pictured only, it does come with an additional longer screw.
I use my Schwinn for road use mainly and don't see a problem, dirt goer's may have an issue since it's just about 5"/6" off the ground when up. Tight cornering might cause you get kicked out/dug in since it protrudes end to end, 10", 5" each side. Just food for thought.
This kickstand was purchased as a recommended part of a ebike conversion, not this particular item, just in general, but I have to say I did pick right. When in use, your bike will have one wheel a few inches off the ground, that's the way it supposed to be. If you got a big heavy bike that falls down alot this kickstand will do the trick keeping it up.
The only thing I foresee happening though are the caps for the ends falling off. You have to kind of figure on that eventually. I'll glue mine in like one reviewer stated. I hope my review was of some help to you. |

| this is the kickstand you need if you've got a big heavy bike. I added it to my 51 lbs. beach cruiser with a large basket on the front that was always prone to getting knocked over with a standard kickstand. This thing is solid as can be. It's heavier than a standard kickstand but not by much as it is made out of cast aluminum. AAA+++ just what I needed my bike isn't going to fall over ever again. |

| It was very easy to install (about 5 minutes). My mountain bike is very stable when up on the kickstand. The best feature is being able to put the bike up on the kickstand or take it down off it from either side of the bike. |
