| I like think I'm an average person. This net is for average people. It works well enough. Some complain about the plastic hooks. I think they're alright. They haven't broken yet. I haven't used any other nets before this one. I use mine with a plain bike rack. I like it. |

| Simple device, a cargo net made from bungee cords. Some other people have mentioned that the removable hooks were an issue for them. I'm found during my use that the hooks stay in place quite well even when the net is not stretched out. In fact, I like the flexibility of being able to move the hooks around on the net, give you many more tie down options on the bike frame and rack. Overall this is a very handy device for hauling stuff on your bike. |

| A great little cargo net that does the job. I use it to fit over my Kettler rear bike basket, and it fits just fine. Has large mesh, so it's not for keeping small items in - this should mostly just be used for keeping large items from bouncing out of a basket, securing a bag to your rack, whatever. |

I've used various methods for storing items while I ride such as backpacks, trunk bags, bungie cords and this is the best option so far. The only problem with a backpack is that it heats up your back. It can get very hot here in the summer and becomes uncomfortable. Now I put stuff in my backpack and strap it to my rack with this net.
Sometimes I just ride with my u-lock on my rack. In situations like that, I wrap the net around the rack twice so it stays on. Sometimes I ride to the beach with my backpack and a giant 2-person towel. This net expands to cover those items well. I can even ride with my backpack and a basketball. In other words, it is versatile. After I strap my stuff I always shake the bike to make sure it will stay on. No incidents have occured.
Some people have shown concern that the hooks are not permanetly attached to the net. This is true. I think Delta has it like that so you can remove or reposition them to your liking. As long as you keep it tightly wrapped this will not be a problem.
Conclusion: I wish I bought this sooner instead of wasting money on other methods. It is a cheap, effective, versatile way of organizing your stuff while you ride.
July 3, 2008 UPDATE:
I secured 2 packpacks (one containing books and one containing clothes) on the back of my bike with this net and after about 8 bumpy miles, I noticed that my stuff was hanging over the side of my bike (I was suprised all that weight didn't break the net). So I pulled over and readjusted it but moments later it again fell to the side. While I was fixing it again I was pulling on the net and it broke. One of the connections snapped.
I took the hook off and placed it somewhere else that was still in tact (only one part broke) and finished my ride. The net was stretched too much. This was a big, heavy load on my bike and I tighened it too much. Despite what happened, I still use the net to secure items on my rack. |
