I've been using this bicycle dog leash with my 65 lb. Aussie and my 50 lb. mixed breed for about 8 months. It works very well, and the dogs love it! As some reviewers had noted, you can feel the dog if he/she pulls, but the bike remains stable.
On my bike the quick-release skewer was not quite long enough to clamp the thick metal flange onto the frame, so I needed to buy a longer quick release--about $15. Also, my Aussie loves to pull me on the bike, sled dog style--fine with me, but he needed a harness to prevent pressure on his neck and throat. We use a Lupine step-in harness.

This dog-bike leash is perfect for my Aussie! After getting him used to trotting beside me, he now is a much happier and calmer dog! I can't beat the price, and it works! The only thing that might bother others would be:
-the metal scratches your bike
-definite learning curve for the dog and rider
-not good for an easily distracted dog
-would not recommend for areas with traffic or frequent cars |

| I have use this product for several years with three different Golden Retrievers. I have had no problems with any of them. I did have to modify the bar to fit my particular bicycle, but that was not a problem. I use an adjustable automobile hose clamp(s) which I can easily remove with a screwdriver. There is a slight learning curve with the dog. The two males wanted to pull me along, while the female was content to run along the side. Like any other dog, once you teach them what you want, there is no problem. One caution note for the rider--don't use on wet surfaces. It's a great product |

| My 10 y.o. son has bike leash attached to his bike and runs our very energetic lab/pit mix everyday. Bike leash is very sturdy and easy to use. Great for covering more ground quickly - if unable to take a walk with your dog. Also helpful in establishing the bike rider as a pack leader. Highly recommend this item to anyone with an energetic dog. |

| I liked the product and it seems just as good as more expensive ones. I used it with my older dog with no problems. I put a younger dog on it. We live in the country and he pulled me down the road about 20 mph. We stopped because a car was comming up behind us. After the car passed we I was walking the bike into a turn. The dog got anxious and was jerking as I was turning. He pulled the pyramid out of the bike. He stopped when I called him so no harm there. They pyramid was not harmed. My bike got bent up real bad where the pyramid fit and the gear guide. It was a 10 speed. I through the bike away. It would have cost more to fix than replace. |
