| Ascent M-12 Sport Helmet by Ascent good helmet at a very good price | I bought this helmet a few months ago when I started getting serious about bike commuting to work, and I've been very satisfied.
The best feature of the helmet is the twist lock system that enables you to tighten and loosen the helmet simply (no fussing with straps and buckles to get a good fit).
The ventilation is adequate, but not great, especially in front, where it would be nice to have another vent or two. That said, the helmet is reasonably light, and the pads are well placed for absorbing sweat.
