| I purchased this towel with a little bit of hesitation- most of the "pack towels" I'd purchased in the past just didn't feel good on my skin- they were rough or just didn't feel right. The MSR towel on the other hand is very soft and feels great even on sensitive areas like your face. I use it simply because I sweat a lot in the summer and with the MSR pack towel, I've always got a convenient towel to wipe my face and neck with- and it even comes with it's own little storage bag. I found out last week it's also great for cleaning up spills and it dries unbelievably fast. I highly recommend this towel whether it is going to be used as a personal towel or just as an all around clean up cloth, or both. Oh, did I mention it has an incredible liquid capacity? Even the hand size (the one I have) can pick up a pretty large spill easily, be washed out and dry in no time fast. Five stars! |

I bought one of these last year for use while running. After successfully training for and running a marathon (used it during all 26.2), I thought it so perfect that I ordered up a few more to keep in gym bag, at work, and in car.
Soaks up water & sweat, cleans up with no residual odor, is small and compact enough to fit in a front pocket, and is soft on the skin.

| I bought this towel to replace a different type of packtowel, also by MSR. My old one was sort of like a flannel, and it worked well enough, but this one is so much better! It's softer and bigger and so absorbent. I take it to the gym and it's always dry to throw back in my bag the next day. |
